Assisting with making patterns, hand sewn elements of bespoke garments, and finishing cuffs and pockets. Lesley Dill Studio- New York Studio Assistant helping with current exhibition pieces. Organising pieces to be taken to galleries. Embroidering final pieces to be put in a collections. Alexander McQueen Intern in the menswear department, working on engineered prints, dying samples, pattern cutting, and researching for the future collection. Mary Katrantzou Intern in the embroidery department in the run up to the fashion week show. Jobs varied from designing patterns and creating samples for final designs, to sourcing fabric and embroidering on final show pieces. DKNY- New York Intern in the menswear design department, designing graphics and artwork for printed textiles. Building woven CAD designs for production.
